Jak Lingko Socialization Intensified

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub) intensifies Jak Lingko Program socialization which targets more people to use public transportation. Recently, it was socialized at Palmerah Sub-district Office.

West Jakarta Sudinhub's Road Transport Section Head, Umbul Gunawan mentioned, Jak Lingko is an integrated transportation system in Jakarta, where small bus integrates with moderate bus (non-BRT Transjakarta), big bus (BRT Tranjskakarta), and rail-based transports such as MRT and LRT.

"There are 84 participants as the representatives of local urban villages, RT/RW, LMK, and FKDM. Later on, they should inform the others about what they have learned from here," he stated, Tuesday (3/10).

Through this socialization, his side expects more people to use public transportation in order to unravel traffic congestion in Jakarta.

"We will continue to hold similar event in each sub-districts," he asserted.
