Thousand Islands Regent Shares Seven Prevention Advices from Coronavirus

Minimizing gathering activities is basically the point

At this time, there is no vaccine for COVID-19 or any natural health products that are authorized to protect against it. Nevertheless there are still ways that can be done to prevent or anticipate it.

This time, Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad shares seven advices to all civil servants and the public regarding efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Those seven advices include, the dismissal of ceremony every Monday, the temporary closure of the RPTRA and library, tightening supervision for residents and tourists who will visit and leave the islands.

Then, the mandatory provision of hand washing liquid soap and hand sanitizer, socializing the latest way of shaking without having to touch hands, conducting cleanup action in public spaces such as in government buildings, mosques, community gathering places and follow developments that can change at any time.

It must be applied thus the virus can be prevented and anticipated early.

"Minimizing gathering activities is basically the point. Today it can be started with cleaning, spraying disinfectants in government buildings, RPTRA and mosques," he expressed, Sunday (3/15).

This instruction has been delivered to all employees and regional heads to be followed up, including coordination with the Thousand Islands Mosque Welfare Council (DKM), to spray disinfectants today without having to hold cleanup action to minimize the gathering of people in a place.

"It also applies to planned activities such as the volleyball competition between PJLP against PPSU on Monday that must be postponed. Hopefully it can anticipate the virus in our islands," he hoped.
