The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) expects rain in parts of Jakarta on Wednesday in the morning.
"Cloudy in the morning, but light rain in West and North Jakarta," expressed BMKG's Public Relations Division Head, Achmad Taufan Maulana.
BMKG Predicts Extreme Weather to Occur Until March 2020In the afternoon until evening, light-moderate rain will pour in West, South, East and North Jakarta.
"In the early morning, light-moderate rain will fall in Thousand Islands, West, Central, South, East and North Jakarta," he told.
Temperatures are predicted at 23 to 31 degrees Celsius with humidity of 85 to 95 percent and Southwest-Northwest wind speeds of 5 to 25 kilometers per hour.
Therefore, residents must be aware of the potential for moderate to heavy rain with short duration in North, South, East, West and Central Jakarta before afternoon and early morning.
