Access to Enter Kelapa Island Tightened

Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands closed access for those who want to enter Kelapa Island since Monday (3/30).

All people who are coming from port in Tangerang and Jakarta must show their ID card (KTP)

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Madi M. Dali stated, his side tightened entry access in ports in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"All people who are coming from port in Tangerang and Jakarta must show their ID card (KTP). Only Kelapa Island residents who are allowed to enter the port," he asserted, Tuesday (3/31).

Tidung Island Tightens Access to Enter and Exit The Island

According to SOP,  he continued, people who came from Kronjo, Tangerang and Kaliadem should pass the body temperature checking carried out by health workers in Kelapa Island Port, even though previously they have been checked from ports where they departed.

He informed that until today, his side didn't find visitors with body temperature above the average, but preventive measures were still carried out by Satpol PP officers by monitoring residents activities and preventing them from going outside their homes.

"Even though port status is closed to public, but health workers are still on standby at the port to check passengers every time the ship arrives," he mentioned.
