8 Puskesmas in Central Jakarta Equipped with Disinfection Chambers

Central Jakarta Government collaborated with Asosiasi Laundry Indonesia (ASLI) to place 2 disinfection chambers in several health centers (puskesmas) in the region.

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irwandi stated, disinfection chambers will be distributed to Puskesmas Tanah Abang, Puskesmas Johar Baru, Puskesmas Gambir, Puskesmas Kemayoran, Puskesmas Cempaka Putih, Puskesmas Sawah Besar, Puskesmas Menteng, and Puskesmas Senen.

"We cooperate to help residents in fighting coronavirus," he said, Wednesday (4/1).

In the other hand, Central Jakarta Health Sub-Agency (Sudinkes) Head, Erizon Safari mentioned, those chambers used benzalkonium chloride as the disinfectant that is very safe for human body.

"Those who are coming to health facilities have a higher risk thus need more protection. So, we provide disinfection chamber for them," he closed.
