Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Cases as of April 13

Jakarta Provincial Government through the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in DKI Jakarta Province announced the latest official figures per April 13, 2020.

As many as 142 people has been recovered from total 2,242 confirmed cases with total death toll of 209

As quoted from Jakarta PPID press release, Catur Laswanto, Representative from the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in DKI Jakarta Province informed data that has been collected from Jakarta Health Agency:

1. As many as 142 people has been recovered from total 2,242 confirmed cases with total death toll of 209. While 1,370 patients are still receiving treatment in hospitals and 521 people carry out self-isolation. The other 873 people are still waiting for laboratory results.

2. Total people under monitoring (ODP) reaches 2,917 cases (2,342 people have been monitored and 575 people are being monitored). Number of patients under monitoring (PDP) reaches 2,408 people (1,270 people have returned home and 1,138 people are hospitalized)

3. Jakarta Provincial Government continues to hold rapid test in 6 municipality cities and regency in Jakarta, including at Employee Health Service Center (PPKP). Until Sunday (4/12), as many as 36,963 people have undergone rapid test with positive percentage of COVID-19 reaches 3.3 percent. In detail, 1,203 people were tested positive for COVID-19 and 25,760 people tested negative.

4. Jakarta Provincial Government conveyed its gratitude for parties who have helped and collaborated in handling COVID-19 pandemic, where up to April 12, 2020, there were total 75 collaborators who have participated.

5. Residents who want to collaborate, give support or assistance in form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), gloves, disinfectants, etc, can inform Jakarta Development Collaboration Network (JDCN) via Secretariat of the Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling in DKI Jakarta Province at Jakarta City Hall, 2nd floor of Block G Building or via website  jdcn.jakarta.go.id and chat center at 081196000196 and 081196000197.

6. Jakarta Provincial Government keeps reminding the communities to maintain physical distance through work study, worship at home, avoiding crowds, maintaining hygiene by washing hands and wearing face mask when leaving house. Efforts and measures taken to break COVID-19 transmission must be carried out by all components of the community.
