City Keeps Socializing Large-scale Social Restrictions in Public

The socialization about large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) for the next 14 days according to Gubernatorial Regulation number 33/2020 keeps being intensified in Jakarta and its surrounding areas, especially in Pulogadung Sub-district. 

If it is ignored, we will give strict sanction

By involving sub-district apparatus assisted by army/police, it is done at Jalan Raya Bekasi, Pasar Pulogadung, Palad Markat, Jalan Palar, Jalan Balap Sepeda, Pulogadung Bus Terminal and other points. Besides educating the danger of COVID-19, they also urge people not to gather and must return to their homes.

"If it is ignored, we will give strict sanction," expressed Pulogadung Sub-district Head, Bambang Pangestu, Friday (4/10).

He also regretted that there was still a misunderstanding where citizens closed roads with portals and other equipments thus other citizens have difficulties to find road access towards settlements.

"Considering there are still many people who still have important needs outside the home. Therefore we urge the local RT/RW caretakers to understand the meaning of the regulation concerning this PSBB," he explained.

In the meantime, Pulogadung Sub-district Satpol PP Head Andik Sukaryanto added, through a megaphone, his personnel keep urging locals to always wear a mask.

"We also share 300 masks for those who do not wear masks," he closed.
