Transjakarta Case, 14 Top Officials Summoned by Attorney General

As many as 14 Jakarta top officials are being questioned by the Attorney General regarding Transjakarta bus procurement. From inspection results, those officials were asked to return honoraria when they served as Management Technical Assistance Team for Transjakarta bus procurement.

Head of Jakarta Provincial Government’s Law Bureau, Sri Rahayu, who became one of the witnesses summoned by the Attorney General, claimed that she had returned honoraria received by her when served as assistant team. “I was summoned as a witness yesterday. But she was reluctant to tell the amount of honoraria received and already returned. "Certainly, I have returned and deposited its honoraria," she stressed

Other officials who questioned as witness are Robinhot Sinaga (Jakarta Inspectorate Public Health Section), Eddy Rachmat (Auditor of Jakarta Supervisor Agency), Meri Erhanani (Inspectorate City Secretary), and Metra Hayati (Supporting Inspectorate of Financial Sector on Jakarta Inspectorate).
There are also Franky M Panjaitan (Jakarta Inspectorate), Wiriyatmoko (Assistant of Jakarta Development and Environment) and Endang Widjajanti (Head of Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency).
Then, Sarwo Handayani (Deputy of Jakarta Spatial Planning and Environment), Budi Hastuti (Head of Jakarta Education and Traning Agency), Sulami (former Jakarta Inspectorate) and Diana Sherly (former Jakarta Civil Sevants), and Fadjar Panjaitan (former City Secretary).
They bear witness over the alleged corruption in the procurement of Transjakarta bus Package I and II worth Rp 150 billion by Jakarta Transportation Department through 2012 Budget. Of the 18 witnesses, the Attorney General only summon 14 witnesses.
Such case is different with the case of procurement of rusty Transjakarta bus last year involving former Head of Jakarta Transportation Department, Udar Pristono.
