Trash Output in Central Jakarta Decreases as City Imposes PSBB

If there is medical waste, it should be wrapped in plastic first thus our officers are not infected

The Central Jakarta Environment Sub-agency has noted that the number of trash daily output in Central Jakarta area decreased by around 20 percent, precisely from 2,191.5 to 1,753.2 tons per day since the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) policy took affect last Friday.

"Every day we send 660 janitors and 240 dump trucks to transport waste in Central Jakarta," expressed Central Jakarta Environment Sub-agency Head Marsigit, Tuesday (4/14).

His party also residents to keep reducing, sorting and recycling waste while in self-quarantine.
