Jakpro Forms COVID-19 Task Force

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) made sure that two of its projects are carried out according to plan. But in order to maintain worker's safety and prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission, Jakpro formed COVID-19 Task Force.

PT. Jakpro Corporate Communication Manager, Melisa Suciati mentioned, her side is currently building Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and a mosque for Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) revitalization.

"COVID-19 task force is formed as one of the procedures for COVID-19 handling at construction sites. It is formed to prevent new cluster of COVID-19 in construction sites," she informed, Monday (4/20).

In those construction site locations (JIS and TIM), there are health procedures that should be carried out to all workers such as body temperature checking, and ecofriendly antiseptic spraying at disinfectant chamber. For workers whose temperature above 38 Celsius degree are not allowed to enter the construction site.

"We also provide medical team, ambulance, and clinic at the construction sites," she added.

PT. Jakpro also participates in preventing COVID-19 outside of the construction sites.

"For example at JIS, we distribute 3,000 face masks to residents of Kampung Bayam which located near the construction site. We also equip our security officers with face masks and gloves," she stated.
