Commission B: JIS Project, Everything is According to Plan

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission B, on Wednesday (2/5), visited the Jakarta Internasional Stadium (JIS), Jalan RE Martadinata, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priuk, North Jakarta.

"So far everything is according to plan," he explained.

In addition, another project like Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) had also been very good and nicely summarized through Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

They were urged to pay attention to environmental and social impacts such as building public facilities, places of worship and other facilities, thus people see the existence of this stadium to bring benefits.

"It has been completed the latest software, which is very helpful to minimize and work time efficiency," he added.

Jakarta Propertindo Director Dwi Wahyu Daryoto expressed that his party would accommodate all legislators' input on environmental and social impacts to the communities affected by JIS development.

One of them was the formation of cooperatives for the spinach village community as an ecotourism area within the JIS area or the application of urban farming tourism.

"Our progress has touched 17 percent from the target set by 12 percent and we will follow up on social and environmental impacts," he stated.
