LRT Jakarta Distributes Gifts for Women Passengers

Welcoming Kartini Day, the city-owned PT MRT Jakarta Director Wijanarko distributed gifts to their operational workers and passengers who are dominated by women, on Tuesday (4/21).

They work based on a shift that starts from early morning until midnight yet this doesn't break their spirits

It was also a form of appreciation for the role of women who have given color to the railroad industry in Indonesia.

"75 percent of our employees are women. They work based on a shift that starts from early morning until midnight yet this doesn't break their spirits," he expressed.

They were also always tasked with ensuring the readiness of LRT train facilities, lines and buildings, security, safety and comfort of passengers.

One of the LRT train machinists Anis Choirunisa said she was proud to be a part of PT LRT Jakarta.

"On Kartini Day, I want to give a message that today's women remain strong, reliable and confident individuals to fight for their dreams," he stated.
