South Jakarta Intensifies Coordination with Police to Improve Regional Security

South Jakarta Government intensifies coordination with police to ensure the region safe during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

Lately, spoliation cases often occur and we want to ensure residents' safety

South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Isnawa Adji stated, his side asked police assistance to monitor residents' activities and ensure security within the region, especially in PSBB.

"We have a routine teleconference together with apparatuses in urban villages and sub-districts, as well as South Jakarta Metro Resort Police," he informed, Wednesday (4/22).

PSBB Supervision at Kampung Rambutan Terminal Tightened

According to him, security will be tighten in border areas such as around Jalan Raya Ciledug, Pesanggrahan, Jalan Pasar Jumat, Kebayoran Lama and others. Furthermore, PSBB monitoring will be also carried out in checkpoints within South Jakarta.

"Lately, spoliation cases often occur and we want to ensure residents' safety. Thus we ask police assistance thus residents can feel safe," he stated.

According to him, coordination to secure the region has been carried out from urban village level together with joint personnel from Babinkamtibmas, Satpol PP, City Council, FKDM, and LMK. In PSBB period, joint personnel patrol around the region to monitor the crowd.

"Patrol is also intesified at RT/RW level in order to prevent crime," he asserted.
