After closing inter-city inter-province (AKAP) bus service, Management of Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta cleaned areas in the terminal with disinfectant.

Thus we use this opportunity to clean the terminal

Terminal personnel cleaned from the bus arrival lane first using simple cleaning equipment such as broom stick, bucket, water hose and brush as well as sprayed the area with disinfectant.

Other areas were also sprayed with disinfectant such as departure lounges, ticket counters, escalators, and elevators.

Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit Head, Bernad Octavianus Pasaribu said, AKAP buses no longer operate in terminal from Friday (4/24) until May 31.

"Because AKAP bus is stop operating temporarily, terminal becomes deserted. Thus we use this opportunity to clean the terminal," he conveyed, Saturday (4/25).

In this cleaning, his side deployed 25 cleaning service personnel to clean areas within the terminal, especially those that rarely reached by personnel because filled of AKAP buses every day.
