43,830 Cloth Face Masks Distributed to Petojo Utara Residents

As many as 43,830 cloth face masks distributed by Jakarta Government to residents in Petojo Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta. This assistance was expected to minimize COVID-19 transmission in the region.

Today, Petojo Utara Urban Village received 43,830 cloth face masks for free

Petojo Utara Urban Village Head, Indarto conveyed, cloth face masks assistance is considered very useful for his residents, especially during Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

"Face mask is very important and many people need it. Today, Petojo Utara Urban Village received 43,830 cloth face masks for free," he stated, Wednesday (4/29).

1.5 Million Cloth Masks Distributed to Citizens for Free

According to him, this assistance will be distributed to 99 RTs and 8 RWs in the region. RT administrators will distribute this assistance by prioritizing it for residents with Jakarta ID Card (KTP).

"Hopefully by wearing this mask, our residents can avoid COVID-19 transmission," he added.

Meanwhile, RW 02 Head of Petojo Utara, Encep Junaedi informed, there are 400 families (KK) in the region with total 2,000 people in 10 RTs who need cloth face mask assistance.

"It is very useful for our residents. We will distribute it to the residents through RT," he closed.
