315.5 Kg of Hydroponic Plants Harvested in South Jakarta

The South Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency has harvested 315.5 kg of hydroponic plants in 17 urban farming locations in the region along April 29 to May 8.

These plants will be sold to buy the seeds again

According to Hasudugan, Head of South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, the 315.5 kg of harvested hydroponic plants are consisting of 160 kg of cucumber, 37.2 kg of kale, 20.5 kg of samhong, 20.5 kg of beans, 32 kg of purple eggplants, five kg of cayenne pepper, 11.3 kg of spinach, 15 kg of pakcoy, 9 kg of mustard greens and 5 kg of oyong vegetables.

"These plants will be sold to buy the seeds again," he expressed, Monday (5/11).

He mentions those 17 urban farming locations for harvesting hydroponic plants are on the South Jakarta Mayor Office's yard, Haju Lele Srengseng Sawah RPTRA, Bahari Gandaria Selatan RPTRA, Bhineka Petukangan Utara RPTRA, Shibi Srengseng Sawah RPTRA, Taman Mandala RPTRA, Pondok Labu RTH and Gg Hijau Mandala Ragunan.

The highest yields are in Pesanggrahan Sub-district (190 kg), followed by Cilandak Sub-district (60.5 kg), Kebayoran Lama Sub-district (42 kg), Jagakarsa Sub-district (33 kg) and Kebayoran Baru Sub-district (15 kg).

There are also Tebet Sub-district (8 kg), Pasar Minggu Sub-district (6 kg), Mampang Prapatan Sub-district (4 kg) and Pancoran Sub-district (3 kg).

"While for Setiabudi Sub-district, there has been no harvest activity," he stated.
