As many as 300 joint personnel are alerted to conduct the sweeping in Pasar Rebo Sub-district during the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), Tuesday (5/12).

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar said they will be deployed to a number of business places that are still operating in Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan TB Simatupang and Jalan Raya Tengah areas.

"We will take action by putting stickers and making temporary closures to those who break the PSBB rules," he expressed, on the sidelines of a ceremony in Pasar Rebo Sub-district Office.

According to him, the officers involved in the action are elements of urban village, sub-district, Satpol PP, Social Sub-agency, Transportation Sub-agency and army/police.

"PSBB sweeping will be intensified in order to stop the chain of COVID-19 infections," he stated.
