Again, Nakertrans Agency Conducts PSBB Sweeping in East Jakarta

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency once again conducted PSBB sweeping by visiting a factory, PT Siemens Indonesia on Jalan Yani, Pulomas, Pulogadung, on Friday (5/8).

During the sweeping, the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency Head Andri Yansyah and his men only found employees who were undergoing a rapid test conducted by the company in collaboration with Siloam Hospital.

"We just make sure there are no activities here. According to the procedures, the company must be closed down if there is only one infected with coronavirus," he expressed.

He went on to say that the factory had run good procedures and in accordance with applicable regulations. They directly held a rapid test after finding two employees infected with coronavirus. So we decided to close down them from 14 days ahead.

PT Siemens Indonesia's Environmental Health and Safety Representative (EHS) Manager Heri justified that the virus was detected after passing through a swab test. As for seven other employees who had direct contact with those employees immediately conducted independent isolation.

"Rapid test is conducted to his 600 employees. Hopefully the results are negative," he stated.
