PD. Dharma Jaya Ensures Meat Stock is Safe for Eid

PD. Dharma Jaya ensured meat stock is safe for Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijri. For the current stock, PD. Dharma Jaya has 1,000 tons of meat.

We will make sure the meat stock to be safe until Eid

PD. Dharma Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman mentioned meat is supplied from Australia and Brazil. His side will supply around 175 tons of meat on Eid.

"Meat price in PD. Dharma Jaya is relatively cheaper than in the market which around Rp 95,000-103,000 per kilogram depends on the parts and its type," he conveyed, Tuesday (5/12).

Furthermore, three months before Ramadan, his side had established a contract regarding meat procurement thus his side can maintain meat price stability in Jakarta.

According to him, there is a decline in meat demand up to 60 percent from the same period last year.

"People's purchasing power is slightly reduced, especially in the midst of pandemic. We will make sure the meat stock to be safe until Eid," he asserted.
