The Bank DKI donated Rp 5 billion in humanitarian aid to support the handling of COVID-19 in Jakarta that was symbolically handed over by PT Bank DKI President Director Zainuddin MAPPA to Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Tuesday (5/18).
This aid consisted of participation in the large-scale social collaboration (KSBB) program worth Rp 2.25 billion, the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) worth Rp 844.5 million and medical worker humanitarian aid in the amount of Rp 638 million.

As for PPE will be distributed to medical workers in 15 RSUDs, namely Cengkareng RSUD, Pasar Minggu RSUD, Tarakan RSUD, Duren Sawit RSUD, Koja RSUD, Tanah Abang RSUD, Tugu Koja RSUD, Kalideres RSUD, Kembangan RSUD, Jati Padang RSUD, Kramat Jati RSUD, Sawah Besar RSUD, Pasar Rebo RSUD, Budhi Asih RSUD and Thousand Islands RSUD.
"PPE aid given consists of 3,750 masks, goggle glasses, hand gloves and 450 face shields and 750 sanitary hand sanitizers," he told.
Additionally, the bank also cooperated with PT Jaktour to provide consumption for medical workers staying at the Grand Cempaka Hotel since last April.
Since the pandemic happens, they also had implemented various CSR programs worth Rp 1.3 billion, including providing portable sink by PAM Jaya in Jakarta area, PPE for medical worker at Cengkareng RSUD and Tidung island RSUD, laptops to medical workers, food packages to residents, printing 1,730 communication materials in the form of posters, banners and X-banners with the theme "Prevention of Spread of the COVID-19", synergizing with the Communication, Informatic and Statistic Agency (Diskominfotik), printing 35,000 communication materials in the form of socialization poster containing Jakarta Governor's Instruction number 9/2020 on the use of masks to prevent the coronavirus, 3,000 handbooks of RT/RW prepared for the COVID-19 pandemic and providing groceries for employees and retirees of the Bank DKI and the community.
