KJP Funds Disbursed, Bank DKI Urges Customers to Comply with PSBB

The Jakarta Provincial Government is again distributing tuition aid for Jakartans who hold the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus and Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU). Residents can disburse it at Bank DKI ATMs spread over Jakarta and its surrounding areas.

Those who want to disburse the aid must maintain physical distancing at leats one meter, avoid the crowd and wear a mask without exception

Bank DKI Company Secretary Herry Djufraini said its disbursement has been done since May 15 and customers must comply with PSBB rules to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

"Those who want to disburse the aid must maintain physical distancing at leats one meter, avoid the crowd and wear a mask without exception," he expressed, Sunday (5/17).

City Relaxes KJP Plus Disbursement Rules During COVID-19 Crisis

He also urged them not to go to the ATMs if there is a crowd and difficult to keep a distance.

"Don't worry your money won't be lost, as it is kept safe in the bank. So don't rush to withdraw it," he asserted.

To reduce the spread of coronavirus, he also encouraged them to make non-cash transactions via JakOne Mobile.

Those who are already connected with JakOne Mobile can check balances without having to go to ATMs. They can also enjoy the convenience of various banking transactions.

"KJP Plus holder at SD/SDLB/MI level can withdraw cash starting May 15, the SMP/SMPLB/MTs/PKBM on 18 and SMA/SMALB/MA/SMK and KJMU on May 20. Disbursement of bridging funds or additional fees for twelfth grade students will also be held in May," he explained.

In contrast to earlier, there is a change in the disbursement scheme for KJP Plus and KJMU funds amid COVID-19. Disbursement of routine funds is still being done monthly, but for regular funds can be disbursed monthly. The city also gives relaxation for the use of KJP Plus and KJMU where it can be used for food, health and education needs.
