KPKP Holds Virtual Training 12 Times in PSBB Period

During Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency has conducted virtual training 12 times in total or 6 times in each municipalities/regency.

Jakarta KPKP Agency Secretary, Suharini Eliawati mentioned, her side targets to produce 6,207 Jakpreneurs for this year. Her side still provided training and assistance through 7 Successful Steps (PAS) to the Jakpreneurs even in PSBB period.

"In PSBB period, we have carried out 12 trainings. There are 2 online trainings for each municipalities/regency. Each training via google meet is participated by around 50 participants," she explained, Tuesday (6/2).

KPKP Ensures Food Safety in Jakarta

Her side provided material such as financial preparation, online marketing, and packaging lessons. Moreover, her side also invited online market actors and representatives from university to be speakers and presenters for the training.

"Speakers will share their knowledge through explanation and QnA session. We apply same procedures with all speakers. For its marketing, we also create demonstration to make the product," she said.

Her side hopes those trainings can motivate Jakpreneurs to develop their business and she is optimistic to fulfill the target.

"This pandemic doesn't make us less productive. The difference is, the training is not given face-to-face, but online," she closed.
