PMPTSP Issues 4,265 SIKMs

From May 15 to June 3, 2020, there are 630,825 users who have accessed Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) service from site https://corona.jakarta.go.id/id/izin-keluar-masuk-jakarta with total 49,483 proposals for SIKM have been submitted. From that amount, 4,524 proposals are still in process since it has just been submitted.

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra conveyed, his side has completed administrative and technical research of more than 21,000 proposals for SIKM in 3 days.

"We keep processing the proposals on national holidays and weekends," he stated, Wednesday (6/3).

Around 8.6 percent from total proposals received by PMPTSP or 4,265 proposals that have met the requirements were issued in form of electronic SIKM. While the other 2,642 proposals are waiting to be validated by guarantor.

"We have rejected 38,052 proposals or 76.9 percent from total proposals we received," he added.

According to him, his side often finds requests that don't meet the requirements for SIKM. Such as applicants whose work is not related with 11 sectors that allowed to operate in Jakarta and non-Jakarta residents who apply for SIKM in Jakarta area.

Regarding to this issue, his side will intensify SIKM socialization through mass media and social media. He also expects people to read and learn about SIKM before applying for permit.

"It needs cooperation from all parties to accelerate our work in processing SIKM and helping residents who really need SIKM," he asserted.
