May 15-29, PMPTSP Received 25,664 SIKM Proposals

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Agency has received 25,664 Exit and Entry Permit (SIKM) proposals from May 15-29, 2020.

There is a surge in request for SIKM on Wednesday (5/27) and Thursday (5/28)

Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra conveyed, from that amount, as many as 10,444 are still on processing.

"There is a surge in request for SIKM on Wednesday (5/27) and Thursday (5/28) that reaches 17,998 proposals," he informed, Saturday (5/30).

7,025 Vehicles Barred from Returning to Jakarta Without SIKM

According to him, many applicants work as household assistants (ART) who want to return to work in Jakarta because they went to their hometown (Mudik) on the previous PSBB period.

"Some of the applicants are newcomers who want to find a work in 11 sectors which allowed to operate during PSBB. Certainly, we reject those proposals because it is not in accordance with applicable regulations," he explained.

Moreover, his side also often received proposals that actually don't require SIKM because applicant's destination is not in Jakarta area. Regarding to this case, his side reminds residents to carefully read and learn about SIKM licensing on the site https://corona.jakarta.go.id/id/izin-keluar-masuk-jakarta and social media @layananjakarta before applying for SIKM.

"This way, all side can help us in processing SIKM faster," he said.
