Tidung Ceria RPTRA Sprayed with Disinfectants

Our focus is facilities and infrastructures inside the park

The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Sector 8 firefighters began to spray disinfectants in the Tidung Ceria Children-friendly playground (RPTRA), Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, Thursday (6/4).

"To do it, five firefighters assisted by the health team and the safe island task force have been sent to the location. Our focus is facilities and infrastructures inside the park," said North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Sector 8 Head, Eko Mahendro.

Those facilities and infrastructures are sports fields, children's play facilities, offices, reading rooms, lactation rooms, halls and equipments which are often touched by visitors.

"Even though there are no activities during PSBB, spraying is done to stop the spread of COVID-19 outbreak ahead of new normal period which is still under discussion," he stated.
