Central Jakarta intensifies monitoring to impose sanctions on the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) violators. From June 1-7, as many as 759 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicle drivers were sanctioned because violating the regulations.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub), Mohammad Sholeh mentioned, PSBB violators were dominated by two-wheeled vehicles with total 563 violators, while 196 violators for four-wheeled vehicles.
From the total violations, 420 drivers didn't wear mask, 140 drivers didn't wear gloves, and 3 drivers didn't have same address with the passengers.

During this period, his side imposed social sanctions to 44 drivers who had violated PSBB regulations. Those were 13 public transport drivers who didn't wear mask and 4 public transport drivers who carried passengers more than limited capacity. As well as 22 freight car drivers who didn't wear mask and 5 freight car drivers who carried more than the capacity.
"Sanctions are given to increase public compliance with PSBB regulations. We always remind road users to comply with the applicable regulations thus COVID-19 pandemic can end soon," he conveyed.
