Vice Governor Acts as Keynote Speaker at Virtual Discussion About Public Service Optimization

Jakarta City Hall-DPRD Reporters held Virtual Shawwal Discussion with theme "Public Service Optimization in the Transition Period" which invited Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) as the Keynote Speaker.

So, let us optimize public service in the transition period

In this chance, Ariza said that even though it was a virtual discussion, he expected it wouldn't reduce quality and substance of information which delivered by the speakers.

"Today, we can have a friendly meeting (halal bihalal) while discussing virtually. It is something new. Through virtual discussion, we will not lost the substance of public service itself," he asserted, Wednesday (6/10).

Virtual Training Given to Jakpreneurs in West Jakarta

Related to the theme, he explained that public service should cover at least six things; service, public complaints management, information management, internal supervision, socialization and education to public, and consultation service.

"Those are 6 points that should be concerned to give a good public service. Besides, there are obligations for community and organizers that should be concerned," he mentioned.

In transitional PSBB period and the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, he assessed, public service should be optimized for the community.

"Previously, our strength was in mobility. Now, the strength is at home. The point is, how could we provide strength even though we stay at home. So, let us optimize public service in the transition period," he explained.

For information, this virtual discussion also participated by Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah; and other speakers such as President Director of PAM Jaya, Priyatno Bambang Hernowo; Jakarta Raya UID PLN General Manager, Doddy B. Pangaribuan; and Ombudsman's Representative of Jakarta Raya, Teguh Nugroho.
