West Jakarta Satpol PP Intensifies Monitoring in Business PlacesAccording to his monitoring on Wednesday (6/10), his side has given written warning to 12 violators in form of public facilities or places, as well as imposed administrative sanctions on 167 violators both individual, business places or public facilities, and social sanctions on 1,036 people.
"From administrative sanction, we have collected Rp 58,800,000 yesterday," he added.
By imposing sanctions, his side hoped it could give deterrent effect to the violators thus they could care more about their health and others in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission.
"In this activity, we are not only educating people, but also imposing social sanction or administrative sanction Rp 250,000 in accordance with applicable regulations. Collected fines will be handed over to regional treasury," he said.
