Shopping Centers in North Jakarta Urged to Follow Health Protocols

Do not let COVID-19 spread, it must be stopped. Do not let what we did yesterday to be in vain

The North Jakarta administration together with the army and police, discussed the technical implementation of the health protocol in the shopping center which will start operating on June 15, on Thursday (6/11).

According to Desi Putra, City Secretary of North Jakarta, they would help safeguard and monitor the public in implementing health protocols in every shopping center in North Jakarta area.

"Do not let COVID-19 spread, it must be stopped. Do not let what we did yesterday to be in vain," he said.

He also stressed the management of modern shopping centers to prepare thermal gun to check body temperature and wash basins at each entrance, including hand sanitizer and wear masks.

North Jakarta Resort Police Chief Comr. Pol. Budhi Susianto asserted that this was not about limiting economic movements.

"We are here to remind and educate workers, traders and citizens in order to prevent new infections, so do not worry," he closed.
