14 PSBB Violators in Semper Barat Punished to Clean Public Facilities

Joint personnel monitored people activities on Jl. Raya Gereja Tugu, RW 06 Semper Barat to ensure the transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations to be carried out well.

Because violating the rules, we punish them to clean up the public facilities for an hour

Joint personnel were from civil apparatuses in Semper Barat Urban Village of Cilincing Sub-district, Satpol PP, North Jakarta Transportation and Gulkarmat Sub-agencies.

In this operation, social sanction imposed on 14 people who didn't wear mask when leaving house, consisting of 9 motorists and 5 pedestrians.

"Because violating the rules, we punish them to clean up the public facilities for an hour," stated Iqbal, Head of Semper Barat Urban Village Satpol PP Unit, Tuesday (6/16).

According to him, monitoring is important to ensure people to remain discipline with applicable regulations thus COVID-19 prevention can be optimal.

Semper Barat Urban Village Head, Benhard Sihotang mentioned, his side will intensify monitoring and imposing sanctions on the violators, especially in areas prone to violations.

"It is important for them to be discipline and be aware of this pandemic," he asserted.
