Gulkarmat Sprays Disinfectants in Three Tourist Sites

As many as 250 firefighters under Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency spray disinfectants simultaneously in Ancol Dreamland Park, Ragunan Zoo and National Monument (Monas).

To curb COVID-19, we will continue to do this action periodically

Besides firefighters, those firefighters are also supported by dozens of fleets such as pump units and portable spray.

"It is done to create a sense of safe and comfortable for the visitors before they (tourist sites) start reoperating next Saturday," expressed Jakarta Gulkarmat Agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan, Wednesday (6/17).

He explained, it is compliance with Gubernatorial Decree number 462/2020 on COVID-19 Handling Task Force and number 51/2020 on PSBB Towards a Healthy, Safe and Productive Community.

"Similar action is also conducted on the environment, public facilities, social facilities and worship facilities," he explained.

Despite having done disinfection, health protocols should continue to be implemented in the hope the public is increasingly aware and disciplined.

"To curb COVID-19, we will continue to do this action periodically," he closed.
