On Jakarta's 493rd Anniversary, Beritajakarta.tv Launched

Jakarta Provincial Government through Communication Information and Statistic Agency (Diskominfotik) launched beritajakarta.tv. This launching coincided with Jakarta's 493rd Anniversary which given as a special gift for Jakarta residents.

19 years shows a long journey for a media, especially government's media

Beritajakarta.tv is a digital tv platform which provides informative programs related to Jakarta Government that can be accessed through internet.

This digital tv platform has 6 featured programs namely, Berita Jakarta, Ngobrol Tengah Hari, Mpok Sapa, Wajah Jakarta, Jurnal Kebon Sirih, and Petantang Petenteng.

Jakarta Diskominfo Head, Atika Nur Rahmania mentioned, beritajakarta.tv is an innovation from Diskominfo which in line with the current digital development.

By developing a dynamic and user friendly platform, her side expected all information regarding Jakarta Government's strategic programs and activities could be informed well and fast to the Jakarta residents.

"19 years shows a long journey for a media, especially government's media. It shows that Jakarta Government can be an entity that is not inferior in innovation. Especially in a big city, it must be fast and responsive in providing information that can encourage the entire community to build the city," she said during the launching of beritajakarta.tv as well as commemorating Berita Jakarta's 19th Anniversary at Jakarta City Hall, on Monday (6/22).

She explained, beritajakarta.tv as one of the information channels owned by Jakarta Provincial Government had enourmous challenges. But at the 19th age, Berita Jakarta has showed its toughness in presenting creative yet educative contents, that can lead Jakarta residents into a better future.

Although in a midst of COVID-19 pandemic, it couldn't dampen the spirit of Jakarta Provincial Government to move forward and compete in the digital era by giving a birth to a new platform, beritajakarta.tv.

"At the age of 19th, it will be a new strength for Berita Jakarta to grow even better. Together, we are grateful for the Jakarta's 493rd Anniversary and Berita Jakarta's 19th Anniversary. Hopefully beritajakarta.tv can be a leading media platform and become the best media channel that not only provide information for residents of Jakarta, but also Indonesia. I really appreciate the hard work of this team," she asserted.
