166 UMKMs Participate in E-Commerce Training

166 small medium enterprises (UMKM) in Matraman Sub-district, East Jakarta, participated in e-commerce training, which carried out through collaboration between local sub-district and PT. Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI).

This training was held at Matraman Sub-district Office's Hall by inviting PT. PDSI Communication Manger, Dhanes Retno Wardhani; ITB IT Expert, Hermansyah; and Jakarta State University Alumni Association Chairman, Yus Octavia as the speakers to give theory and practice lessons to the participants.
Matraman Sub-district Head, Andriansyah mentioned, it was held to improve people's economy in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. His side expected it could improve their skills to compete with local or even international UMKMs.

PT. PDSI Communication Manager, Dhanes Retno Wardhani conveyed, her side divided the participants into 3 phases by ensuring to comply with COVID-19 prevention protocols.
"This training is a prize for Jakarta that celebrates the 493rd anniversary. Through e-commerce training, UMKMs are expected to be more proficient, professional, and become entrepreneurs who are able to compete locally and internationally," she asserted.
