Crossing Channel Construction in Kramat Pela Accelerated

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency accelerates crossing channel construction that has been started since June 11, 2020, at RT 02/04, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru.

We accelerate its construction by targeting it to finish within 30 days

South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Section Head, Junjung deployed 7 personnel to build crossing channel that will connect with Jelawe connecting (PHB) channel.

"We accelerate its construction by targeting it to finish within 30 days. Now its process reaches 65 percent. Hopefully it could finish on July 11," he said, Monday (6/30).

Channel Normalization Carried Out on Jl. Jiung Kemayoran

This crossing channel, he informed, is built with length 15.6 meters and depth 70 centimeters. It is expected to reduce the impacts of inundation that could happened during the rainy season.

"Our work is a bit hampered due to cable and pipe across the crossing site. But overall is okay," he mentioned.
