1,000 People in Cilincing Undergo Mass Rapid Test

As many as 1,000 residents living in Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta are undergoing a mass rapid test for COVID-19 held at the Kober Dipsosal Waste Site (TPS)'s parking area, Semper Timur Urban Village. It is collaboration between the North Jakarta administration and the United Indonesia Volunteers Against Covid-19.

North Jakarta Administration Secretary Desi Putra said that it aimed to curb the spread of the coronavirus transmission in the transitional large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

"We also take a role in this matter to assist the government in suppressing coronavirus cases," she stated, Tuesday (6/30).

She hoped that mapping and anticipating the coronavirus outbreak in Cilincing area could be overcome.

United Indonesia Volunteers Against Covid-19 Chairperson Sandiaga Uno uttered that rapid test would be continued with swab tests if reactive results were found.

"Thank you, the urban village head and the whole community, who take part in checking their health conditions," he closed.
