1,000 Targeted to Undergo Rapid and Swab Tests in Kramat Jati

The COVID-19 rapid and swab tests are conducted on the yard of the Lippo Plaza's parking area, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta programmed by the Indonesian Volunteers United Unite Against COVID-19 in collaboration with the East Jakarta administration.

We are doing this to stop the spread of COVID-19 transmission

East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar said it was participated by residents in Kramat Jati Sub-district, PJLPs under the Water Resources Task Force, PPSU members and Satpol PP.

"We are doing this to stop the spread of COVID-19 transmission," he expressed, at the location, Tuesday (6/23).

In this transitional PSBB, he stated, residents should continue to implement health protocols thus the COVID-19 pandemic could end soon.

Volunteers United Unite Against COVID-19 Chairperson Sandiaga Uno expressed that 1,000 people were targeted in the rapid tests. Until 10 AM, as many as 284 people had undergone it and nine of them were reactive and directed to take the swab test.

"Thank your for the participants. This is part of the relaxation in the transition period with the target of dense residential settlements," he uttered.

As for the information, Kramat Jati Sub-district is one of the densely populated areas prone to transmission, especially there is the Kramat Jati Market which is always crowded every day.
