He also tasted the honey flavor of trigona bees before seeing the separation process, which was divided into five colony setups (hives).

"The honey has a distinctive taste, like sour and sweet. Although not yet processed, it tastes good to the tongue of a layman. Incidentally, a trial of harvesting one liter of honey is currently being conducted," he explained.

Jakarta Parks and Forest Agency's Counseling Coordinator Sugeng Santoso added that the process of trigona bee cultivation had a harvest schedule once in six months with a one-liter harvest from a colony.

"The first time we harvested was on June 5 and the second is today. Hopefully, after breaking the colony, we can harvest another five liters of honey within six months," he hoped.
