Traditional Markets in Jatinegara Have Implemented Health Protocols Well

Dozens of joint personnel have conducted monitoring the implementation of large-scale social restriction (PSBB) in three traditional markets, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta.

They must be reminded to be orderly and comply with health protocols

Those three markets are Jatinegara, Burung Pramuka and Pramuka. In general, from the monitoring results, traders and visitors have implemented health protocols such as providing portable sink, disinfectant chamber, thermal gun to check body temperature and setting up the COVID-19 handling task force.

Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency Head Andri Yansyah urged traders and visitors in the market to improve clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially in the market environment.

"They must be reminded to be orderly and comply with health protocols," he expressed, on the sidelines of his activities, Monday (7/6).

On the other hand, East Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency Head Galuh Prasiwi added, from monitoring results at Pramuka Market, traders and visitors had implemented health protocols properly.

"The market has implemented a one gate system which functions to check visitors' body temperature and has provided portable sink. They also require traders and visitors to wear masks," he stated.
