Bandung Legislators Conducts Work Visit to Jakarta DPRD

City Council (DPRD) Legislators from Bandung, West Java, conducted work visit to Jakarta DPRD this Wednesday (7/8) to learn drafting code of ethics and legislative proceedings.
We were given guidance material from Jakarta DPRD's BK thus we could adopt it
Bandung DPRD Honorary Body (BK) Chairman, Dudi Himawan mentioned, his side is currently forming special committee (Pansus) to draft regulations regarding legislative proceedings. Thus his side needs inputs from Jakarta DPRD.
"We were given guidance material from Jakarta DPRD's BK thus we could adopt it," he conveyed.
Lampung Legislators Study BUMD Management from Jakarta DPRDJakarta DPRD Honorary Body (BK) Chairman, Ahmad Nawawi explained, all legislators should understand code of ethics and legislative proceedings.
In learning code of ethics and legislative proceedings, he assessed, it needs collaboration with other institutions such as prosecutor's office, police, and Honorary Court Board (MKD).
"Actually, we have planned to make national legislative seminar related to code of ethics and legislative proceedings by inviting BK leaders from 34 provinces in Indonesia. But we can't realize it until now due to COVID-19," he said.
