Commission C Discusses Budget Allocation for COVID-19 Handling

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission C together with Regional Financial Management Board (BPKD) and Jakarta Regional Earnings Board (Bapenda) will discuss about the budget allocation for COVID-19 that has been submitted by city government.

We need to see it thoroughly in today's meeting

Commission C Deputy Chairperson, Rasyidi mentioned, city government proposed additional budget of Rp 2 trillion for COVID-19 handling which submitted from Unexpected Budget Cost (BTT-APBD) of City Budget 2020.

"Although the use of BTT budget is entirely on the executive authority, but we haven't discuss it in detail. 2 trillion is an estimation, because it hasn't been decided yet," he explained, Monday (4/27).

Council Allocates Activity Budget to Help Handling COVID-19

He added, his party also had not yet decided on the additional budget that would be taken from local regulations (sosper) socialization budget allowance and council members' work visit (Kunker) budget.

"We need to see it thoroughly in today's meeting. When it finished, we will provide the detailed information,"he stated.
