3M Rules Begin to Be Socialized to Kelapa Island People

The Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, started to socialize the 3M rules (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (keeping a distance) door to door to residents' homes.

Especially for food stalls, we urge them not to serve food and drink on the spot during the PSBB period

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head Madi M Dali said its socialization was conducted by cadres of PKK, Jumantik and Dasawisma. They demonstrated directly to residents how to use masks and wash their hands routinely and maintain social distancing when talking or serving buyers.

"Especially for food stalls, we urge them not to serve food and drink on the spot during the PSBB period," he expressed, Thursday (7/9).

Thousand Islands Forms 3M Campaign Team to Curb COVID-19

He added the campaign began in the morning in each RW area according to the division of tasks. By doing so, the spread of the corona virus in Thousand Islands could be prevented.

"We will reprimand people who don't use masks and give out a free mask, likewise for those who wash their hands but there is no soap," he concluded.
