Commission A Hopes ASN Can Educate Market Visitors

They (ASN) can do patrol while socializing the health protocol provisions to market visitor

Members of state civil apparatus (ASN) serving under Jakarta Provincial Government tasked to assist surveillance in traditional markets are expected to be able to educate the public about the importance of health protocols to contain COVID-19 spread.

The statement itself came from Jakarta DPRD's Commission A member August Hamonangan on Monday (7/13). According to him, surveillance could be optimized until the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB) period ends, which falls on July 31.

"They (ASN) can do patrol while socializing the health protocol provisions to market visitors," he expressed.

If it was optimal, he explained, this action could bring long-term positive effects for visitors and traders in the market in implementing health protocols.

"Hopefully they can apply health protocols in daily activities," he stated.
