This Week, South Jakarta to Hold Emission Test in 2 Locations

South Jakarta Administrative will hold free vehicle emission test in two different locations in this week. For information, emission test is carried out in accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 2/2005 concerning Air Pollution Control.

Thus from now, not only cars that can take emission test, but also motorcycles

South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Isnawa Adji stated, vehicle emission test is a part of government's efforts in controlling air pollution in Jakarta. This vehicle emission test is given for free and open to public.

"Emission test will be held at Mayor Office's Yard and PT. Telkom Office on Jalan Gatot Subroto on July 16 from 8 AM to 4 PM," he explained, Monday (7/13).

According to him, emission tests are provided for public transports, private vehicles, and operational vehicles both in private companies and government offices that use diesel or gasoline fuel.

"For this emission test, we also open for two-wheeled vehicles. Thus from now, not only cars that can take emission test, but also motorcycles," he asserted.
