Tidung Island's Main Pier Sprayed with Disinfectant

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 8 personnel sterilized facilities at Tidung Island's Main Pier, South Thousand Islands with disinfectant, on Wednesday (7/15).

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sector 8 Head, Eko Mahendro mentioned, 5 firefighters deployed with assistance from Safe Island Task Force, Transportation Agency (Dishub), urban village apparatuses, medical team, and Satpol PP to disinfect the area.

"Disinfectant spraying carried out by 5 personnel using 2 sprayer units to follow up the related port unit," he conveyed.

His personnel sprayed port facilities with disinfectant from the entrance gate, pier railing, seating, waiting room, ticket counter, Dishub office, and al facilities and infrastructure on the location.

"Our personnel use 30 liters disinfectant liquid. Hopefully it could prevent COVID-19 transmission in Tidung Island from the pier entrance," he stated.
