In June, 448 Vehicles Netted in Central Jakarta Due to Illegal Parking

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) has netted 448 vehicles due to illegal parking in June 2020.

Illegal parking operations are conducted to provide safety and comfort for road users in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Mohammad Soleh informed, 71 vehicles were ticketed by Central Jakarta Sudinhub, 12 vehicles were ticketed by Satlantas Polda Metro Jaya, and 232 four-wheeled vehicles were towed due to illegal parking on the roadside.

Next, 48 two-wheeled vehicles and 15 four-wheeled vehicles were flattened, 35 four-wheeled vehicles towed because parked on sidewalks, 30 freight cars were netted and 5 public minivan were stopped for operating.

West Jakarta Sudinhub to Crack Down on Illegal Parking

"Illegal parking operations are conducted to provide safety and comfort for road users in Central Jakarta," he stated, Wednesday (7/15).

During the operation, his personnel keep complying with COVID-19 prevention protocols to anticipate COVID-19 transmission.

"All personnel on the field wear mask, wash hands, and maintain a safe distance to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Jakarta," he closed.
