Hundreds of Makasar Residents Undergo Rapid and Swab Tests

As many as 197 residents living in seven RWs, Makasar Urban Village, East Jakarta are undergoing COVID-19 rapid and swab tests conducted by the Makasar Urban Village Puskesmas at the Makasar Sport Hall (GOR).

"Despite our region is including the green zone, we remain try to do anticipatory efforts from these rapid and swab tests," expressed Makasar Urban Village Head, Arroyantoro, Thursday (7/16).

Of 197 residents, he expressed, 50 out of them underwent swab tests and the rest took rapid tests.

500 People Take Rapid Tests at East Jakarta GOR

"Majority of participants are local residents, RT/RW caretakers, Jumantik cadres, TP PKK members, PPSU members and urban village staffs. We can already know the test results within a week ahead," he told.

To smoothen it, his side had assigned nine medical workers serving under the Makasar Urban Village Puskesmas.

"It is done, as 60 percent are categorized as asymptomatic carriers (OTG)," he stated.
