150 Pramuka Market Traders Take Rapid and Swab Tests

Anticipating COVID-19 transmission, rapid and swab tests held for 150 traders in Pramuka Market, Matraman, East Jakarta for early detection of COVID-19.

Before taking the tests, 15 medical teams collected traders data and checked their body temperature.

Matraman Sub-district Head, Andriansyah conveyed, rapid and swab tests were carried out to prevent COVID-19 transmission in market for the safety of market traders and customers. For information, Pramuka Market was closed in June and then closed again on July 11-14.

"After market management and trader community agreed to take rapid and swab tests, we immediately coordinate with East Jakarta Health Sub-agency and Matraman Sub-district Puskesmas to hold the test," he explained, Wednesday (7/15).

According to him, if his side find reactive result in rapid test, then the related person will be asked to take swab test.

"Traders with reactive result should close their stalls for 14 days and take swab test. Then if swab test result is positive, then the closing period for their stalls will be extended and the related person must undergo self-isolation or quarantine at Wisma Atlet Hospital," he stated.
