Transitional PSBB Period, Satpol PP Intensifies Health Protocols Enforcements

In order to ensure residents compliance with COVID-19 health protocols, Jakarta Government through Satpol PP intensifies PSBB monitoring and enforcement.

We intend to minimize the potential of people from getting exposed to COVID-19

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin conveyed the latest developments on the COVID-19 health protocols monitoring results as of July 24, 2020.

"Monitoring is carried out in public places/facilities, socio-cultural activities, as well as controlling people who don't wear mask by imposing various sanctions in accordance with Pergub No. 51/2020. For fines paid with money will be transferred to regional treasury," he said, Saturday (7/25) as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

59 Health Protocols Violators Netted in Kramat Jati

According to him, this effort is done to protect all residents from COVID-19 transmission.

"We intend to minimize the potential of people from getting exposed to COVID-19. However, we really need the cooperation from entire community to be orderly and carry out the rules that have been set. Thus we don't have to impose sanctions on the violators," he explained.

Here is the recapitulation of our actions against health protocols violations during Transitional PSBB period by Jakarta Satpol PP on July, 24, 2020 at 7 PM:

1. Public Places/Facilities

Written Warning: 8

Fine: 8

Total: 9

2. People who Don't Wear Mask

Social Sanction: 3,099

Fine: 711

Total: 3,810

Thus, we collect fines from individual as much as Rp 93,550,000; then fines from public places/facilities Rp 1,000,000; with total Rp 94,550,000.

The cumulative result of the recapitulation of our actions against health protocols violations during Transitional PSBB period by Jakarta Satpol PP from June 5 to July 24, 2020, as follows:

1. Public Places/Facilities

Written Warning: 401

Fine: 71

Total: 478

2. Socio-Cultural Activities

Written Warning: 8

Fine: 18

Seal: 28

Total: 54

3. People who Don't Wear Mask

Social Sanction: 37,599

Fine: 4,094

Total: 41,693

Thus, fine we collected from individual is Rp 664,040,000; then from public places/facilities is Rp 264,850,000; and socio-cultural activities is Rp 171,500,000; with total Rp 1,100,410,000.
