In order to ensure residents compliance with COVID-19 health protocols, Jakarta Government through Satpol PP intensifies PSBB monitoring and enforcement.
We intend to minimize the potential of people from getting exposed to COVID-19
Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin conveyed the latest developments on the COVID-19 health protocols monitoring results as of July 24, 2020.
"Monitoring is carried out in public places/facilities, socio-cultural activities, as well as controlling people who don't wear mask by imposing various sanctions in accordance with Pergub No. 51/2020. For fines paid with money will be transferred to regional treasury," he said, Saturday (7/25) as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
59 Health Protocols Violators Netted in Kramat JatiAccording to him, this effort is done to protect all residents from COVID-19 transmission.
"We intend to minimize the potential of people from getting exposed to COVID-19. However, we really need the cooperation from entire community to be orderly and carry out the rules that have been set. Thus we don't have to impose sanctions on the violators," he explained.
