From Early July, Social Sanctions Imposed on 3,514 Violators in South Jakarta

South Jakarta Satpol PP had imposed social sanctions on 3,514 people who violated transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations since early July 2020.

Most violations are because of not wearing mask when doing activities outside home

"Most violations are because of not wearing mask when doing activities outside home," stated Ujang Harmawan, South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tuesday (7/28).

Within this period, his side also imposed administrative fines Rp 250 thousand to 447 PSBB violators. As well as written warning to 33 violators because not wearing mask.

July 1-27, 1,041 PSBB Violators in Ciracas Netted

"In total, we have collected fines as much as Rp 118,400,000," he conveyed.

According to him, the highest number of violations was happened in Pasar Minggu with total 756 people, then 650 violators in Jagakarsa, 449 violators in Mampang Prapatan, 423 violators in Tebet, 375 violators in Kebayoran lama, 256 violators in Cilandak, 241 violators in Kebayoran Baru, 330 violators in Pancoran, 299 violators in Setia Budi, and 215 violators in Pesanggrahan.

"Hopefully those sanctions can make give deterrent effect and make them more aware," he asserted.
