Again, City Council Building Sterilized with Disinfectant

A number of Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency firefighters are respraying disinfectant in the DPRD building area, on Monday (8/3).

We are doing this to curb the spread of the disease thus the building can operate as usual

Jakarta Gulkarmat Agency's Emergency Medical Division Head Isun said it was the fourth time conducted in order to sterilize the city council building, following the findings of legislators and employees infected with COVID-19 at the DPRD secretariat.

"We are doing this to curb the spread of the disease thus the building can operate as usual," he expressed.

His agency had deployed 30 firefighters and 6 units of power sprayer with 25 liters capacity to spray the indoor part, including 2 units of water mist at the outdoor.

"Hopefully it could be e ffective to stop the disease. Certainly we are ready to return if needed again," he stressed.
